Law Ting Pong Secondary School: Thank you very much, my dear host sister!

Dear Anna and her family,

      I’m very glad that I have you all being my host family during my stay in Scotland. Thank you so much for taking care of me, giving me a place to live in and giving me food to eat, not to mention, the food was delicious.

      You guys have a big family and I am lucky to meet every one of you, you all are so kind and friendly to me and I couldn’t thank you more! If we have any questions, you will always answer us and explain to us, you even helped us with school and introduced us to your friends. I’m also so grateful that you brought me to different famous attractions in Edinburgh like the Camera Obscura, the National Library and more. Thanks to you, I’ve learned so much more about Scotland, like what’s famous about Scotland and the history behind the historic buildings, you would explain to us in details which was easy to understand. 

         Sometimes we would be late for school but you still didn’t get mad and also I’m very sorry, you’re willing to wait for us. I always lose my wallet and you helped me find it twice and I’m really thankful for that. I’m really sorry for bothering you and your family from time to time. For once when you had to stay at school and I wanted to go home first, you were willing to give me the key to let me go first. Although at last, I could't open the door but you still trusted me with your key as you did not have another one, thank you!

     

         Also I have to thank you for spending your time with us, picking us up from the other high school and going shopping with us. I’m glad you were willing to walk the whole day and went shopping for the whole day with us. You brought us to cheaper shops to save money and many souvenir shops so we could buy some gifts for our family and friends. You brought us to try the teas in the cafes and brought us to the bubble tea store, they were both so good. Thank you for being fine with going back to the shops to buy more stuff with us. We get to walk all around Edinburgh and you taught us some shortcuts to go back to your home in case we were too tired. Also thanks for giving us so much food, we eat a lot.

        You and your family have been too nice and kind to us; I’m so grateful for meeting you all. Hope I get to come back next time and get to meet you all again soon!
